The most important people in this book are the unnamed women, Steve Harvey, and his wife Marjorie. The unnamed women have outer traits such as smart, independent, good looking, healthy, and kind. Their inner traits however, are that they know it all, they expect the impossible, they know nothing about what men are really like, and half the knowledge that goes on in their head about men is ninety nine point nine percent false. Steve Harvey is an African American, tall, healthy looking, hilarious, well put together male. His inner traits are experienced, he sees what other men and women think and expect and has put together those ideas and thoughts and came to a idea himself about what men really think about love, relationships, intimacy, and commitments. His wife Marjorie is average weight, shorter than Harvey, African American, independent female. Her inner traits are quite similar to those described of the females. Shes described as expecting the impossible, but being very intelligent and well on her own.
